The last Metro-North train leaving Poughkeepsie Station is after midnight at ~12:27am. The last Amtrak train leaves 8:40pm.

If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, and the bride has not walked down the aisle, patiently wait until the procession is over, and join seating. If procession has taken place, quietly join seating.

Since the wedding is outside, we would prefer guests to look their best while remaining comfortable walking around on grass and garden paths. For ladies, I would suggest dresses/skirts below the knee (or a sleek jumpsuit!) Stilettos may sink—the chunkier the heels the better! And there will be no judgement from the bride (me) if a cute pair of sneakers or flats make their way onto the dance floor by the end of the evening. For men, med-dark color suits with neckties and formal shoes would be a safe bet.
